Account Deletion

You can request to delete your account at any time.

Steps to delete your account within the Lanefinder App:

  1. Tap the "More" tab

  2. Select the "Settings" option

  3. If you're not logged in, log in first by tapping "Log In"

  4. Tap "Delete Account"

  5. Confirm the deletion by tapping "Delete Account" again

If you are unable to log in to your account, please contact Lanefinder Support at support@lanefinder.com .

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you confirm your request, your account will be immediately deactivated for a 7-day "cooling-off" period. During this time, your profile will not be visible, but it can be recovered.

If you wish to reactivate your account during this 7-day period, please contact Lanefinder Support via the chat function on lanefinder.com or at support@lanefinder.com .

After 7 days, your account deletion is final.

Your personal information will be permanently deleted or anonymized. If you are enrolled in Lanefinder Benefits, they will be cancelled.

Exceptions for Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Please note that we are legally required to retain certain information even after your account is deleted. As detailed in our Privacy Policy, this includes data related to driver applications, background checks, and other records we must keep to comply with Department of Transportation (DOT), FMCSA, or other legal obligations.

This retained data will be securely stored, isolated from our active systems, and used only for legal compliance, auditing, or fraud prevention purposes. It will not be used for any marketing or service-related communications.
